Privacy Policy
This policy explains what personal data WisGrad collects through this website, why, and the rights you have. It is written to meet India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act) and, where it applies, the EU and UK General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
Who we are
WisGrad Education Private Limited ("WisGrad", "we", "us") decides why and how your personal data is used. We are the "Data Fiduciary" under the DPDP Act and the "controller" under the GDPR.

What data we collect
- Student enquiries: your name, phone number, email address, the programme and module you are interested in, your preferred way to study, and any message you choose to write.
- Institution enquiries: your institution's name and type, your name and role, email address, phone number, what you would like to explore, and any message.
- Employer enquiries: your company name, your name and role, email address, phone number, whether you want to hire or train, the roles or team size, and any message.
- Learners who want help finding work: the details you gave us on enrolment and your skills and work, so that we can recommend you to employers.
- Technical data: this website does not use analytics or advertising cookies. Our pages load fonts from Google Fonts, so your browser sends your IP address and browser details to Google when a page opens.
You choose what to enter. We ask only for what we need to respond to you.
How your enquiry reaches us
The enquiry forms on this website do not send data to our servers. When you submit a form, your device opens WhatsApp or your email app with your message already written. We receive your details only when you press send. WhatsApp (Meta) and your email provider handle the message under their own privacy policies.
Why we use your data, and our legal basis
- To reply to your enquiry, explain programmes, intakes, eligibility and fees, and to arrange admissions assessment. Our basis is your consent, given when you tick the consent box and send the message, and steps you ask us to take before you enrol.
- Where you have asked WisGrad to help you find work, to introduce you to employers who are hiring, with your consent.
- To keep records of our communication and to meet legal obligations.
- To improve our programmes and website in a way that does not identify you, where this is in our legitimate interests under the GDPR.
We will not use your enquiry for marketing unrelated to your request unless you agree. You can withdraw consent at any time, and this does not affect what we did before.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal data. We may share it only with:
- employers we introduce you to, where you have asked us to help you find work and have agreed to your details being shared;
- the University of West London, where needed to assess your admission or deliver a programme you enrol in;
- service providers who help us run our communications, website hosting and systems, under confidentiality and data-protection obligations;
- authorities, where the law requires it.
Transfers outside India
Some providers, such as WhatsApp, Google and our university partner in the United Kingdom, may process data outside India or outside your country. Where the law requires safeguards, we rely on appropriate contractual protections.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry details for up to 24 months after our last contact with you, unless you enrol (in which case admission and student records follow our academic record-keeping rules and the law) or ask us to delete it sooner.
Your rights
Under the DPDP Act you may ask for a summary of the personal data we hold and how it is used, ask us to correct or complete it, ask us to erase it, withdraw your consent, nominate another person to exercise your rights if you die or cannot act, and seek redress of a grievance.
Under the GDPR, where it applies, you also have the right to access your data, have it corrected or erased, restrict or object to its use, receive it in a portable format, and complain to your data protection authority.
To use any of these rights, email info@wisgrad.com with the subject "Privacy request". We will respond promptly and within the time the law requires. We may need to confirm who you are first.
Children
This website is for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18 without the consent of a parent or lawful guardian. If you think a child has sent us data without that consent, contact us and we will delete it.
Security
We take reasonable steps to protect personal data against loss, misuse and unauthorised access. No online service is completely secure, so please avoid sending sensitive information such as passwords or identity numbers in an enquiry.
Grievances and complaints
If you have a concern about how we handle your data, write to our grievance contact at info@wisgrad.com with the subject "Privacy grievance". We aim to resolve it promptly. If you are not satisfied, you may complain to the Data Protection Board of India once it is operational, or, if the GDPR applies to you, to your local data protection authority.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when our practices or the law change. The date at the top shows when it was last updated.
